02. Structural independence, not just in name
We operate outside the product distribution system. No institutional ties, no cashback, no commissions. The analysis stems from strategy and nothing else.
Absolute Structural Independence
Independence is not just a statement; it is an operating model. In today’s financial market, a significant portion of recommendations originates within distribution systems—even under formal fee-based models that include the full rebate of product-linked compensation.
Compliance with these rules ensures financial transparency, but it does not change the logic of the model: the analysis remains embedded within an ecosystem of institutional product shelves. Our structure was born outside of this system.
What this means in practice
A large portion of consultancies known as fee-based operate connected to financial platforms or large institutions. In these models, the consultant may recommend assets distributed by these platforms and potentially receive compensation linked to origination or distribution. These amounts, by rule, must be fully passed on to the client through contractual transparency.
Although the rebate eliminates the direct financial benefit to the consultant, the model remains integrated into the distribution system. We take a different approach.
We maintain no commercial ties with banks, brokerage firms, or platforms. We do not have sales targets to meet. We do not operate under any rebate mechanism, even with pass-throughs. Our compensation is exclusively agreed upon between the firm and the client. There are no intermediaries. There is no operational dependency.
Why the model matters more than the statement
We do not treat independence as a statement of principles. It is embedded in the design of our operations: a direct relationship and compensation structure with the client, and the freedom to analyze products and solutions across different institutions as the strategy requires. This changes the starting point of the decision. And when the starting point changes, the result changes too.
Our work does not begin with the question:
“Which product should we use?”
It begins with the preceding question:
“Which wealth structure makes sense to exist?”
Only after that are the instruments selected. These choices are not made for convenience, but by method. The strategy is defined by the client’s assets and objectives, not by the operational availability of an intermediary institution. By removing the distribution system from the equation, the consultancy operates under a logic of absolute fiduciary duty.
In this context, independence stops being just a talking point and becomes a core and essential feature of our operating model.
Comparison of operating models
A sound advisory structure only makes sense when it improves the quality of decision-making. See how we put this principle into practice in our investment consulting.
"We are truly independent and impartial. We have nothing to sell. Our goal is to give you clarity, confidence, and control over the management of your assets."
